Previously, he was the Senior Vice President at BMM, a top tier independent testing lab and prior to his role at BMM, Rich was involved in the testing and certification of gaming equipment as the Director of both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania gaming equipment testing laboratories for more than 25 years. Ken Golda has over 17 years of experience in the casino gaming industry where he has had prominent roles with all three major independent testing laboratories. Ken is considered an expert in the field of gaming device testing and regulation; the development of technical standards for gaming equipment; communication protocols and systems; forensic analyses of gaming devices and systems; and has performed training on all aspects of technology in the gaming industry for regulators and operators alike. Cynthia Hays is a certified paralegal who has more than 17 years of gaming industry experience, including positions with various levels of responsibility in Technical, Regulatory, and Legal Compliance on both the operator and manufacturer sides of the business. She started her gaming career in the legal department of Harrah’s Entertainment and parlayed that experience into compliance roles both at the corporate and property levels and served as Customer Service Director at the Flamingo in Las Vegas. She finished her career at Harrah’s as the Corporate Director of Electronic Gaming Regulatory Affairs, partnering with the business on new technology solutions to guide alignment between functional and regulatory requirements.
In 2009, Cynthia joined WMS as the Director of Networked Gaming Technical Operations, working with operators and regulators to deploy WMS’s remote configuration and download product and their Class II offering. When Scientific Games purchased WMS, she took on an expanded role as Executive Director of Global Technical Operations at which time she took on responsibilities on the lottery side of the business as well. She handled technical compliance and regulatory matters, helped defined product features, and managed user acceptance testing, training, and technical documentation for various systems.
Cynthia is now the Corporate Vice President of Compliance for JACK Entertainment, a Detroit-based gaming company with casinos in Ohio and Detroit, as well as a Racino in Ohio and a Horse Track in Kentucky. She leads the company’s overall licensing and compliance efforts and direction, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations in which the company does business. Cynthia has been recognized for her work in the gaming industry as a recipient of a Great Women of Gaming Proven Leader Award. She has also been a frequent presenter at OTGRA and NTGCR.
